Human Body: A Unique Computer System & Why Good Nutrition is Important

Human body is unique in the animal kingdom. Human body can be compared to a extremely advanced computer system. No such system has been devised till date. In future also, I don’t expect such a system could ever be be created

It is a unique computer system with extreme intelligence, data analytics and machine learning algorithms. It is equipped with thousands of 3D printers, each with a unique capacity to print its hardware (HW) and software (SW). It changes its component every 3-4 months (cellular turnover) and repair itself whenever required (self healing power). It has got a specialized systems to self repair its algorithms when they are altered by external or internal factors.

Its hardware is various organ systems (musculoskeletal system, digestive systems, reproductive system, cardiovascular system, respiratory systems etc ), each having its own HW and SW and autonomous in function.  A highly integrated communication system (the software) exists for vertical and horizontal communications between the CPU (brain) and hardware (organ systems). It is the only system, where HW can communicate among themselves and take action without the CPU involvement. The system has excellent algorithms for all life situations learnt through lakhs of year of machine learning (the evolution).

So congratulations! You are a proud owner of a extremely advanced system ever created in the world.

For good colour printing, a printer requires inks with three colours; red, yellow, and green in form of cartridges (We can call it as raw materials for colour printing). Similarly, a human body printer requires around forty different types of inks or raw materials, called as nutrients. The nature has packed these inks or raw material in form of various cartridges called foods. So all nutrients are present in different types of foods. Our main role is to provide color cartridges (foods) for 3D printing of HW and SW. The 3D printer has learnt to self adjust the proportion of various raw materials in food for a particular printing function, if adequate level of various raw materials (nutrients) are present.

The raw materials or the nutrients required for human body printing can be broadly classified into following groups:-

(a)  Proteins

(b)  Carbohydrates

(c)  Fat

(d)  Vitamins

(e)  Minerals

The science of studying the raw materials for human body is NUTRITION SCIENCE. Nutrition status reflects the state of adequacy and functionality of the SW and HW. In olden days whatever food we ate, was natural. Nature has ensured that all raw materials required for good 3D printing were available and our computer has learnt to self adjust for various nutrients (inks or raw materials). But with progress of civilization, thanks to our modern agricultural practices, the quality of raw materials has deteriorated both in quantity and quality. The environment has got extremely polluted affecting our body algorithms adversely. To add salt to wound, our lifestyles has further aggravated the situation from bad to worse. Its high time we must act to reduce the damage to our systems, or better we should eliminate the damaging factors completely (next to impossible)

If nutrients (raw materials) are supplied adequately, the body can print a high quality HW and SW without bugs. If bugs occur, body can correct them instantaneously. This is a state of excellent health and longevity. Diseases are akin to bugs, created by microbes, altered environment and faulty lifestyles altering the body algorithms. If adequate substrates or raw material or nutrients are available, the body can repair such anomalies by its own (body self healing power). In the absence or relative lack of any of above material, a good HW or SW cannot be made (or printed) by the human body system. Medicines and herbs may assist body to repair itself by correcting the body algorithms temporarily, however, even if algorithms are corrected by medicines, the system functioning cannot be improved on a long term basis, due to absence of adequate raw materials.

An important lesson emerges that if nutrition is bad or faulty, medicines cannot act fully to cure or control a disease.

Unfortunately that is what is happening today. In spite of all medical research, we are not able to cure the chronic diseases but only treat the symptoms.

Thats how good nutrition is important. Unfortunately, instead of concentrating on good nutrition, people run around for supplements, alternate therapies and magic pills, to solve their health problems. Most of them invariably lose their money as well as health, because most of these supplements have never been tested for safety and efficacy. They don’t correct the nutrition state as a whole.

We at Poshan Shiksha (Nutrition education) try to acquaint you with the scientific information on nutrition, to enable you to not only improve your health, but also save money by reducing your medical expenditures. We also help you to attain health and Longevity.
